The Virginia Tech Global Entrepreneur Partnership offers elite student teams and university representatives from all over the world a chance to collaborate, form partnerships, and build their global networks.  Based on a cooperative association of regions and institutions building permanent social and academic relationships with each other, honoring their mutual best interests, members gather annually during an event hosted by Outreach and International Affairs, Virginia Tech, VT KnowledgeWorks, its sponsors, and the citizens and businesses of Roanoke and Blacksburg, Virginia. Elite student teams will present their business concepts for a grand prize as they compete in the Global Entrepreneur Challenge.  Faculty and staff delegates charged with building institutional bridges to other universities around the globe gather together for an Annual Global Roundtable for university-to-university networking opportunities, brainstorming sessions, and best practices information exchange.
