Entrepreneur searches for breakthrough

Ed Champion may not consider himself a scientist, but he does know the heartbreak that comes with the field better than most.

He’s been in search of a breakthrough for about three years as he tries to invent a quick and cheap test for gluten in food. More than once, he thought he was on to something only to be delivered a setback days later.
